I would go for the purple that makes you happy. As others have said, it's only a $35 difference and if you wear them all the time for work, the CPW will go down fast.

And I much prefer these to Cons or other flat sneakers with skinnies, FWIW. I mentioned on your previous thread that I don't like the look of Cons with skinnies because they make feet look so long and narrow. The chunkier platform style of Danskos actually makes feet look more normally proportioned to my eye, odd as that may sound.

Well, that's weird - the purple just came down 25% to $52 but the navy went up to $70! (Nordies had the navy at $35 also, so I could still go over there).
I am tempted to hit buy . . . but then I don't know, maybe the black Friday sales are going to affect pricing even more.
Does anyone know if Amazon price adjusts? I can't find it in the automated help search area.

no, amazon does not price adjust post purchase.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/.....eId=468502

ps: think about your cost per wear. any marginal decrease in price will be more than off set by the frequency with which you wear and the guarantee that you will get the color your prefer. plus, you can return if you don't like them or if you find a cheaper alternative.

Mo, if these are going to be work wear and you work 35 days, you'll be down to $2 CPW. Get what you want!

I am getting purple at $52 today and hoping i don't see a screaming deal on them tomorrow lol! Amazon is crazy with pricing. I remember the boots I got for $77 going back up to $250 and never coming back down. It's like I hit a magical price window.

FYI, even if Amazon doesn't price adjust, I wouldn't hesitate to keep them unworn for a week or so and if you see the price plummet, reorder and return the $52 pair. Just make sure they are in fact returnable (most Amazon items are). A nice workaround to the no price adjustment policy. I've threatened to do that at some retailers and suddenly they are willing to make an exception (which just saves the double shipping--a cost THEY usually incur).

I vote yay get the color you like best. Everytime I've "settled" with a purchase, I've regretted it.

Well, I am really rolling the dice now. I have decided on purple. That's done. But I found them at 6pm for $43. But that's not all. Cyber Monday Danskos will be part of the sale, up to 70% off. No guarantee this particular style will be on sale, or still there, but there are over a dozen in my size, so I'm feeling good about it.

EDIT: and all this neurotic, buy/don't buy, wait, etc behavior is why I end up scoring some really good deals Already the shoe I was prepared to spend $70 on yesterday is now $43.

malina...i need you to shop for me.

BJ, happy to any time!! Now I found a code for another 10% off, $38.69 out the door. I think I'm going to just do it. What's $17? That's what waiting and hoping for possible Monday sale would save me. Besides, this is basically what the navy were originally going for. Win/win!!

Glad to hear you are getting the ones you want at a better price. I think it is often better to not settle as you can so easily have regrets.

Are you sure you're not a gambler?
