Most self-indulgently I put my other cares aside and went back for that blue chanel-esque jacket. It had moved, and I had to circle the store twice to find it. I also tried on several tops with it in the store. I quite liked this one. It is sequined and feels like silk BUT it is 100% polyester. I thought 60 dollars is quite a lot for a polyester shell, but perhaps that is the price of sequins that wash and don't fall off? I couldn't stomach the price--was it too much or am I off-base? I suppose it is a trend at the moment that natural fibers are used less and less but the prices don't reflect that.
