StyleFan, thanks for the tip about Pham ark. I didn't realize they weren't in Canada.

Jenni and Laura --agree that dainty seems less available. I love t-straps but couldn't find any. I am also game for the very minimal ankle strap with one strap across the toes. We'll see.

Since you really like them and know they are comfortable, I echo StyleFan about trying to find a pair of the same on Ebay or Amazon. Do you remember or have access to the style name? I often find brand new items that are a few years old on those sites. I just bought a new replacement pair of some beloved Everybody sandals that are about the same vintage on Amazon for about 25% of the original price.
I also really like minimalist's idea of keeping them for situations where you wouldn't want to risk your nicer shoes - IF those situations occur reasonably often for you AND you have the storage space. I always kept a past-their-prime pair of shoes in my office for days when the weather unexpectedly turned and I didn't want to go out in the shoes I wore into the office for the day. Would these work for that purpose for you?

Yes, I would consider them (nearly) worn out. If I loved them, I would wear them for rest of the summer. And if I just couldn't let them go then, next year I would wear them only at home or at very casual occasions.

Ryce - I think I might like an update on the wedge heel. Maybe a block heel instead. So I don't think I'd want an exact duplicate.

I do like the idea of finding gently used sandals online.

The Cat: thanks for your idea. I think I'm going to hang on to them for very casual occasions.

Once the soles and heels show wear, I either get my shoes resoled if otherwise looks still good or toss out. The last thing you need are your shoes throwing your body out of alignment causing problems.

I just ran cross a brand called Vicenza (there's currently a Vincenza shoe in the Anthro catalog). I didn't see anything right now that is similar to the shoe your are going to be replacing, but I did get feminine, strappy, natural vibe from some of their previous offerings. Maybe it is a brand worth keeping on your radar when you begin to look for replacement sandals.

I included a find for the Anthro pair even though it's not the look that spoke to me...

Love these Emily. They're right up my alley. Thank you for thinking of me.
