Would this work with scarves or is it enough already?

I love the sleeves on this and a pretty black pullover is on my wish list this winter...but mostly to be a background to scarves, which I love to wear. Maybe scarves over this would be too much? I wouldn't really wear black near my face without a colorful scarf.

I think scarves could work, too, especially if not too big and billowy. BTW, I adore this top, Peri. Those sleeves are amazing!

I think this would look lovely with a scarf at the neckline. The sleeves are great for a pianist (am I remembering correctly that you play and teach piano?). They are fancy, drawing attention to the hand, without getting in the way.

I would be inclined to wear this sweater as is because I find it to be quite a dramatic piece but a sacral wrapped around neck and not "hanging down" would work also. I would just avoid wearing a scarf draped that would compete with the detail of the sleeves. How about a statement necklace as an alternative to the scarf idea?
