Would this dress work

Im going to a wedding party next weekend and still have not found a thing to wear so panic stations. Im 5"9 size ten to 12 uk mostly rectangle shaped with a bit of an apple belly. Would this style dress work for my shape and any ideas on how to style it. If it wont work that fine just spotted it on sale online

I am no expert, but it is the perfect dress for the occasion and I think it would work. The band(?) around the middle looks slightly high (in a good way) and it is wide. I think these 2 qualities can create a bit of a waist and provide some support around your tummy.

I would try it, but maybe you should see what the others say.

Gorgeous dress and worth a try if you can return. Are you a small busted or large busted rectangle? This will affect whether the neckline will flatter you. You should also check the length measurement to see if it is long enough, given your height.
