Would this peep-toe bootie work in fall/winter (perhaps with tights), do you think? Or would the lighter color platform sole and heel make it look off?

FWIW, I think this is virtually a Summer or late Spring bootie for Seattle. I vote closed toes for Autumn and Winter.

You are in Seattle aren't you, danskogirl? If you're somewhere warmer - ignore my comment.

That is a gorgeous bootie.. and I agree with Angie. If you are in a very cold place it would get uncomfortable. Otherwise it is a beauty... I don't know about you but I can't wear booties without cotton socks, if you are okay without socks then again it is a good choice.

Yes, I'm in Seattle, Angie. (For the exorbitant price, I was hoping for something that could work year-round. It is sooo beautiful but don't know that it would be worth the price if I could only wear it late spring/summer.) Thanks much, Angie and T.
