I start my job tomorrow! I need a little help with what I'll wear. I'd like to wear the outfit posted below, but I'd like a little feedback. Like, is it good for a first day. I'd rather wear a flat shoe because I'm not sure how much walking I'll do tomorrow. If this outfit isn't the best, I can pair the top with black pants and my heels.

I haven't thought much about accessories, but I'll probably wear my silver thumb ring and stacking ring, my pearl necklace and silver watch. The pants look like they're wiskering again, but it looks worse in the pic than IRL.
My next question is about this coat. I liked what I heard about pastel coats and I found this one on my swap site. In the interests for full disclosure, this coat was originally sold in 2003, according to the tag (thanks Gap!). I know it's probably a little dated, but I thought this was a good way to test if I liked a trend. So, without further ado, the coat.
What do you think about the outfit and coat? The coat didn't come with or look like it was made with a belt. I know my shirt isn't laying down right, but I think that's more me in a hurry than the coat.
