Would these work as a neutral shoe?

As in nude, fade into the background shoes? I wouldn't want them to! If you have a lot of tats (tattoos) along the same lines, I guess they would disappear. I sure hope Fluevogs are bunion unfriendly shoes, cuz I certainly can't afford to get the Flue(vog lust).

I'm afraid, Donna, that my Fluevogs are the most comfortable shoes I own. Their high heels are amazing...I've got a few pairs and I can walk really far in them. Sorry!

If you don't have any color on your legs and wear them sans hose, I think they will read as "low contrast" but not as a nude shoe. They're lovely though!

I don't think they'll function the same as a nude shoe, but I definitely think this could work as a neutral shoe, in that it will work with lots and lots of different colours.

Oh my. I love these to death and back - very rare for a pump to catch my eye like that!

If you are fair skinned, these won't be a nude (they would be nude on me, for example, because of the tan colors), but they will be low contrast and neutral.

And gorgeous.

Sigh.

I was cursing Meredith for tempting me with those cute polka dot Converse shoes, but now they look like such friggin' bargains compared to the Fluevogs! Thank goodness almost no shoes work for my fussy, bunioned, triangular shaped feet. After I figure out the photo thing, I'll have to show y'all my potato shoes. They really.and.truly.look.like.potatoes. 8-( Comfortable as heck, however.

I KNOW, right? So pretty. Rae, I almost never go for straight-up pumps either, but I LOVE these. (All of my high-heeled shoes have some kind of maryjane strap). But they're really expensive. And I already have several pairs of heels that I love.

You guys are right; they won't be nude on me, but they will be fairly neutral, while at the same time being not boring at all. I like the leg-lengthening properties of nude shoes, but on the whole I am not attracted to nude shoes because I usually find them a bit uninteresting. (I do like metallic, though, but only for strappy sandals). These seem like a way to get around that problem.

I also like the fact that they have a thick heel, which makes them easier to dress either up or down, and more stable for walking.

I might go in and try them on.

Maybe the same thing will happen as last time, and they simply won't fit right. Remember those stained glass ones that I loved? I never did get them because even the smallest size was too big.

Ooooh! Those are really interesting shoes. The only thing I could say to talk you out of them would be if they don't go with your current wardrobe. Otherwise, they're pretty amazing!

I went and looked at them. They are EVEN MORE beautiful in real life. And they're all different; the ones in my size had a lot of blueish-green on them, which I love. They are actually not too far off my skin tone, so although they don't work as a nude shoe, exactly, they are definitely low-contrast and would look good with most of my spring/summer wardrobe. And they fit!

Should I go for it? The staff to put them on hold for me, and my honey agreed that they're beautiful and he would get them for my 40th. (He also said that the first step is admitting you have a problem...).

You love them, they fit, I think GET THEM!!! They are too amazing. You might just have to wear them with absolutely everywhere except the gym! So that includes on the lounge in good or bad pjs so the contrast with their beauty is EVEN BETTER! Yes, Need to see a photo as well!

Yes, please get them! If they are gorgeous and comfortable and you'll wear them forever, there is no question. I love Fluevogs because they're so much fun. I wish I still had a life style to rationalize buying this pair, so please, do it for me.
