I like this, which I spotted on Peruvian Connection, but I know by now that what looks chic and easy on others looks too bodycon and tortured on me, LOL.

I was pleasantly surprised by how a couple of more flowy cut PC dresses looked on me, like the Illumination. I thought it was going to be big and bulky and too peasanty, but it drapes so nicely. Maybe try something one step less slinky than the straight sheath? I think there are cuts between yours and mine.
Yes, I can see how those flowier styles would be more friendly — but again, looking at the colors and prints, this was the one that most appealed to me, out of the options with long sleeves and longer length. PC prints are very hit or miss for me.
The dresses and blouses trending here at the moment are very prairie influenced - lots of high necks, shirring, tiers, small florals etc and in summer also lots of shoestring straps etc.. It's not quite my style although I do like florals and I like puffed sleeves but most of them don't feel authentically my style.
I suspect that the right dress will turn up - either through The Real Real or maybe in a smaller boutique or in store browsing.
I think you already decided … but I was trying to pin point what I didn’t love about it and I realized it is the white line at the bottom takes all the attention away from your lovely face! when I cover that with my finger I quite love it on you .
