I thought I'd take a pic before my run today since we've had a few discussions of workout wear lately.

My jacket and capris are Lululemon, shirt is Nike (from Marshalls), hat from Lucy, and shoes are Brooks.

It's 65 degrees here today! Crazy!

You really don't want to see mine, really, really don't want to see mine. I excercise in my basement in a room with one small window, the window is under a deck....
I wear bike shorts from walmart, a champion sports bra from Costco and Saucony running shoes. I replace the shoes about every 9 months to a year. My 'clothes' are replaced when my husband says it's time, like when they become see through!

Very nice picture, Janet! I don't have a picture of my running gear, although I love mine (it is somewhat similar to yours - capris by Marica, soft jacket from Brooks, etc.). Your jacket is beautiful and everything fits you so well!

I will post a picture of my cross-country skiing gear from home.

You look great, Janet! I'm only inside in the gym so I don't need a jacket or something like that. I actually have PPL in my jogging pants!

Tina, i understand! In all honesty, this is one of my cuter ensembles.

Makrame, I'd love to see some ski gear. I haven't been skiing in so long, and this winter is flying by...

Khris, I'll be swimming a lot more in the months to come, training for a mini-triathlon in late summer. I won't traumatize the forum with more swimsuit pics!

I bought this jacket over four years ago in SF, and it is still going strong -- it's my favorite workout piece and I always feel like it elevates my gear a bit.

I have PPL on my yoga pants too! *high fives* I have to buy the long lengths and have them hemmed just a smidge. At first I felt ridiculous getting my yoga pants hemmed but it feels better when I wear them.

Very cute! I went running yesterday, but I didn't look nearly as stylish. Although I am pretty conscious about my everyday clothes, my workout wear is often a real mishmash of whatever is clean!

These are the first pants I bought since YLF and they were that length already - a lucky accident I guess. All my workout wear from before is not so pretty. But I'm not going back, I feel so much better in it too!

Love this -- makes me want to take my gear up a cuteness notch....or 4. LOL on PPL for yoga pants! I noticed in our vacation pics in November that my yoga pants were horrifyingly short. One area I overlooked in my YLF overhaul of 2011 (which still continues).

Good luck training. BTW, my kids are skiing this coming weekend at Timberline in WV, can there really be enough fake snow?! This is my kind of winter in the mid-ATlantic, for sure.

So cute! I love that jacket!!! I'm obsessed with Lulu, but I try to take it easy because it's so expensive.
My bottoms are only Lulu because I love the compression. On top I wear anything that has wicking material and I cannot stress the importance of a good sports bra!

Well, today I wore the same Reebok shorts and hat I'd posted on Anne's thread a few days back, with a white Adidas technical tee and my Asics Kayanos. I ran to the post office with packages to mail from eBay sales and then to the wine store for some sauvignon blanc for dinner. Since I haven't had a car for months, I sometimes literally run my errands. So I am definitely seen by plenty of people. I'm sure some think it strange, but that's okay. I do look presentable.

Ooh, Suz, how mysterious!

I've been wearing hoodies and jackets demoted from my college days, so I still feel pretty good in my workoutwear (helps that hubs and I run at night). Tuesday I had on a red asymmetrical zip sweatshirt with oversize collar.

@Janet, I love the funky jacket! Do you run in races as well? I like the shirt peeking out of the jacket effect - I tend to do this quite often.

In case ladies with plushy bellies and slim legs are reading, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lululemon's Will Pant.

These lovelies are high rise and does NOT add too much bulk to the belly. I've always been self-conscious of the muffin top divide, and with these babies, there is no such thing as a muffin top. And for runners out there (ME ME ME!!!), there are POCKETS on each side. I love me some pockets for running!
