Working with the crazy Plaid Pants again

Round 2 with some styling attempts to determine if I'm keeping these pants first seen here: http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....myself-una)
Plaid is brown, cream, navy, yellow and red in a light cotton almost seersucker material. I think these are PPL although much wider than most of my pants.
1. shows length with 2.5" wedges
2. Added Denim blazer. Too preppy? Tried to step into the light to see them better
3. What about cropping as Clamdiggers? Added KS ivory top and espadrilles (now they are not work appropriate, but if they look better I"m ok with it)
4. Tried to show as cuffed Bermudas with button down and ankle wedge sandals.

I'm ok if they are returns. I'm not a 70's style person, but am a big preppy so I'm thinking make shorts or return.

I actually like them at all lengths. To me, they seem a bit more deliberate and statement-like as full-length pants, rather than cropped, but ultimately I think it depends on how you think you'll get the most wear out of them.

I like the long and the shortest lengths best.

I'm not as fond of the red top with them as I am that untucked white blouse. I think I'm really leaning toward the white on top so there's no visual competition with those pants plus it looks fresher to me with its shirttail hem than the top in cream with a straight hem.

What about long length + white untucked white blouse + navy blazer? Might be way too preppy (like you mentioned about other pairings), but the untucked blouse might un-prep it enough?

I really like them as shorts (which was my original vote). You could wear them more on weekends, and just think of all of the colors of tops that would match or go with them! You could add a denim jacket, too. Having them shorter and wearing your shirt untucked really cuts down on the *shock* value of the plaid. However, you could certainly keep them long and wear them to work as statement pants. I'm fine with either.

I like the pants at both lengths but prefer with the white top to the red.

Hmmm Jj I liked them in your original post however I am not loving the pants here. I won't comment on thevshorter lengths as I don't personally relate well to those styles. The long length I am not sure about mainly because they don't quite look to be your style and the pattern risks adding too much to your frame. Having said that, I think theyvwould look bestvstyled with a top not tucked.

I love these plaid pants, Jjsloane! They look great all lengths. I guess choose whichever you think would be most versatile for you.

I like them long but I also like them best with the white. The short lengths look good too though! Tough decision!
