After the recent blog and post discussions on knitwear and pilling, I decided to peruse the sweater selection of a newer thrift store* to see if there was anything interesting, and snagged a HEWI! I’ve been wanting an Aran style sweater in an oversized style that doesn’t snug in at the hips - and found this Lauren Ralph Lauren cotton knit - for $10CAD. (I found the identical sweater on Poshmark for $70 ($200 new!))

*Repurpose opened up on the town’s main street about 3 years ago and proceeds of sales support a women’s shelter. The women’s clothing selection has been a jumble of homely items - until recently. They’ve acquired some new clothing racks, and some better quality merch and the place is definitely worth checking out when I do my rounds. Clothes were flying out the door today!
