I have a collection of Express pleat front turtlenecks & long sleeved cotton tees (solid colors)...but as I mentioned in another thread, virtually no winter-weight sweaters.

Anyone have any warm sweaters to recommend (especially as they might be on sale) that won't look too frumpy with turtlenecks? What is a good silhouette or neckline? I would have loved to get warm "indoor" jackets, but nothing I tried fit me well through the shoulders.

I gradually purged all my old sweaters either because I wore them out or decided they were too bulky to wear under jackets or too shapeless.

I don't want to spend a lot per sweater...as I feel they don't last long enough to justify a high price tag...but I'm not sure what's "modern" in sweaters these days...Help! (PS I am looking for cardigans rather than pullovers, I think...)
