Woo hoo - The Halogen seamed skirt is in in Raisin

I wanted to order another Halogen seamed skirt but by the time I made up my mind, the size I wanted wasn't in. I've been checking daily and it was there today.

I can't wait. I plan to wear it with a white shirt and grey sweater, tights, and boots. Maybe even a hat. I think it will look great with the greys.

Thanks ladies. I also ordered the fleece lined tights based on the recommendation on YLF. I am in Halifax for the week and shop even more online when away from home than usual. Will have to work on curtailing it until I take stock of my closet.

This yellow skirt gets more compliments than anything else I wear. Grab one while you can! You don't have to wear yellow next to your face and it seems to go with everything.

Just checked to see if the turquoise was back. (it's not) The yellow raisin is on sale for $39.90!! I wear mine so much I'm almost tempted to duplicate.

Hmm, this would be a good way to join in with the pencil skirt fun. I'm concerned it will be challenging to dress down to say "corduroy level casual". Going to check out some of the earlier yellow skirt threads for inspiration.

Yay for the raisin skirt!! I have that skirt in five colors and the yellow is definitely my fave! If you are after a dressed-down look, it looks divine with a denim or chambray shirt!

Suz, it is a heavy knit that drapes really well and also has a really good lining.

You can get a price adjustment. Nordstrom policy is to give a price adjustment if you purchased it within 2 weeks of the new price. I'd call and ask for one. They may not have even charged your credit card yet!

For the ladies on the hunt for specific colors and sizes, you may want to call customer service to see if they can track the skirt down. I ordered the turquoise skirt although the Nordstrom website said that a 10P was unavailable. The CSA was nice enough to look for the skirt at individual stores. It took forever to get here but I love it!
