Sorry if anyone doesn’t want politics mixed with their fashion, but as an American I felt this is so significant I had to share for our friends in other countries as well.
Even though I did not watch the SOTU address (I was on a plane), I thought this was a striking and moving use of fashion to make a very real statement of solidarity, celebrate the record-breaking number of women in office, and commemorate the 100 years since suffrage.
Plus, dang I love that cape jacket.
