@ Traci: you are making it make a bit more sense. Call me old fashion, I never thought that when you go out for the evening, you'd change again for the club... but then again, now that I think about it, it's much better to do so. I'm from an old generation who goes out like an adventure, ready to face anything...
@ Ruth: Aren't those cruises just wonderful? You are lucky to have a husband who comes working out with you. Mine sleeps in the cabin! Re: Flip-flops: yes, I agree, very bad for the feet.
@ Lisa: My pleasure. I tend to do like you: one day time, one evening wear and one swim or workout change. 7 is over the top I think.
@ Suz: you have a point about the weather, however, is it worth changing your whole outfit? Isn't a raincoat or jacket enough? When I travel is when I am least susceptible of changing due to weather. Unless there is a sudden major heatwave and I happen to be wearing tweed. Otherwise...
Re: bikinis: How many is too many?
@ Mo: never say never again... you might develop a taste for clubs, who knows? Don't tell me you're too old! That is ludicrous.
@ Teeandcee: I have this problem if I buy too much clothes while travelling. I want to wear those and my old ones suddenly seem so plain. Before I leave, I always pack in a 2-step process. The second time around is for editing and purging the suitcase. I read somewhere ''If you are beautiful in it now, you'll be beautiful in it when you come back''.
@ Carole: I wouldn't either!
@ JR: That is fantastic. What is your trick?
@ Diana: so true about the cooking. It's so nice to be on vacation and not have to cook, nor shop for food. That is where a big part of the 'holiday' lies for me! (can you tell I hate cooking?).
