2.2 pounds lost this week! Woo hoo.
That brings me up to 7 pounds lost since January 1. I don't know how much I've lost since we started this process because I was using a different (and inaccurate scale) before. So I'm only counting from January 1.
I am hoping to lose another 2 pounds next week, which seems to be my healthy average!
I have to say, I am extremely proud of myself this week. I ate out at various restaurants numerous times and I did very well! I even tackled a peer pressure situation where the whole table ordered alcohol, a fried appetizer, unhealthy entrees, and dessert -- yet I remained strong and drank only iced tea and ate rare ahi tuna and a side salad. I could have easily eaten some of the fried appetizer, but I didn't. And I could have easily had a few tastes of the dessert, but I didn't. The alcohol was no big deal because I'm not a drinker, but it takes sooo much self control for me to stay away from unhealthy foods that are right in front of my face and I conquered!
So needless to say, I am pleased with myself this week. I was scared to weigh myself because of the numerous restaurant outings, but the scale reported back good news. Yay!
