I use 3 different gauges to determine if I'm really losing or if I"m just delusional:
-how clothes fit
-what the scale says
-measurements
So far the only change I had seen was on the scale. But today I had my mom measure me and I couldn't believe it. I had to get her to measure me 3 different times until she got frustrated with me because I just could. not. believe. it. My waist and hips are 25.5 and 36! That's down from my starting measurements of 27.5 and 37. I expect that my waist measurement will fluctuate a lot throughout the day, so it's probably really more like 26 or 26.5, but either way, it's a HUGE accomplishment. No wonder I like belts more than I did...
Oddly though, overall I'm not seeing a huge change in how clothes fit. There are some slight changes but nothing major. But I consider this the least important of my 3 gauges as clothing sizes are so inconsistent.
