WIWW...to a concert...updated with outfit

I am going to a music concert with friends tomorrow. I can fit my favorite black dress again comfortably. It's rouched so I'm guessing I can skip the shape wear. I'm going to wear with my black moto jacket, ankle boots and opaque tights. Perhaps a scarf for color. Do you think you could wear this kind of dress for work with a trench and boots....I'm all into multipurpose clothes. Added some inspiration photos.

Not sure about the dress for work. The slit will creep up quite high when you sit down.

Great dress for a concert but I second Angie's apprehension about wearing it to work. It seems a little too form fitting and the slit does seem like it could be a problem when sitting.

Fantastic dress! Love your styling idea for the concert.

I would wear this dress to work if I was going for a business bombshell look. But I'd wear it with pretty hose, classic pumps & a blazer or cropped jacket.

In winters, thick opaque tights, trench & boots sounds like a good idea too. I say - go for it. The slit making the dress creep up when you sit wouldn't matter that much when you're wearing opaque leggings underneath

not to work, I wouldnt be able to bend over. I've already experienced a little trouble in an earlier post with a similar dress at a party. Keeping for DH date night tho. You rock in this dress and your legs are gorgeous!!

Love the dress for a music concert and date night. Shows off your rocking body and legs. Great inspiration pics. I wouldn't wear it to work because of the slit and the vavoom factor. But then it depends on where you work.
Sometimes it is nice to have something special for special occasions.

Thanks everybody for your suggestions and on thinking on it, I realise that maybe I should keep for going out. It's good to get feedback. I need to remember just because it looks nice doesn't mean it's appropriate for all occasions. I'll try and get a photo of my outfit tonight. It's so cold here I don't want to remove clothes to try something out.

Exactly, looks great but not easy to wear and you want to think about the concert not yanking down the dress!

Thanks Shevia. Actually it doesn't look as immodest with opaque tights. I added styled photo to original post. The dress is fitted but not tight.

Thanks MsGreer and Anna. It was really comfortable. I love my scarves....I wear them all the time.
We saw the blueman group. It was amazing entertainment. My friend who is head of music at my school suggested it. Fantastic drumming and visuals.

I would think that the dress would be okay for work, with the addition of opaque tights and a suitable jacket. I'm all for versatility, too.
