Today I put on a favorite linen shirt in Easter/butter yellow--cool and easy. I was very hot, so decided to try a blue linen skort that had gotten too small. It was a squeeze getting in, but felt fine otherwise. I was glad to be cool today.
I added reddish earrings, a silver bangle, then realized I had done primary colors, one of my favorite combinations.
The second photo is my new-to-me dress shirt.
I had envisioned getting a men's dress shirt in an Easter color, like bubblegum pink, and wearing it over a crop top in the same color. The first name that came to mind when I thought of this was Hugo Boss. Not that I'm an expert, but I associate Hugo Boss with great quality, almost tastefully loud.
So when I was in Chicago at the Brown Elephant thrift store, I was so happy when I pulled this Hugo Boss off the rack. It is not an Easter color, but a bold orange and blue stripe.
My father said I look like a Wall Street broker from the Eighties, and I will take that. I definitely enjoy a shirt that commands attention.
(Also, is it just me, or am I loading my photos wrong? On my end, I am not able to expand them out to full size. Can you do that with these photos? I am not sure what I am doing wrong.)
