Attending our local minor league baseball game Saturday and they are having a Taylor Swift Eras Tour theme night. I thought it would be fun to participate with minimum expense.
1) In googling what most gals are wearing to the TS concerts, I was getting discouraged that I could come up with anything, but then I came across this outfit that TS wore of a graphic tee, sequin black shorts, and black flats. So I came up with....
2) ...this revised version of the graphic tee, black full skirt, and since I don't have sequin shorts, I thought my accessories could add that bit of sparkle. We have had 60+ days of 100+ temps and even though I would like to wear the sparkle bow sneakers, I think I might be more comfortable with the black sandals.
3) I am not a Swiftie but I hear friendship bracelets are big at her concerts, so wrapping this metal and leather chain around my wrist will be my version of that.
What do you think? Are the sparkling earrings too much? Should I switch the skirt with black athletic type shorts?
4) ETA: As I was putting things away, I came across this hat and these studded loafers and had a total change of direction for the outfit that felt right for the baseball venue and the hot weather. Also changed earrings to silver ball studs that matched the metal on the hat. So that's that!
