WIWTWT: MOTG Navy Tee, Grey Vest, Crop Jeans

WIWTWT or What I Want To Wear Tomorrow (is there a better abbreviation for that?): The square sequins on the tee have an asymmetric pattern and I'm not sure if it looks ok under this vest. This outfit is super comfy; is it too casual? Would these sandals be OK? I don't have a very good selection of summer shoes.

Navy UK Style French Connection tee from Sears, grey vest from Avenue, Sofia cropped jeans from Ross, necklace from NY and Company, metallic SOSandals from Kohls and silver Tag watch.

Great outfit! I feel like the necklace is competing with the built-in bling of the top, so I think I would prefer the outfit without the necklace....... I like the shiney bits on your top and how it echoes your shiney shoes!!

Too casual for what? Depend on what you are doing/ what your work environment is like.....

Edit, just saw that this is a MOTG outfit. Definitely not too casual for MOTG! Might even be too dressy if you have a lot of running around in the woods/playing in the sandbox scheduled. Would hate to ruin your lovely shoes!

I like this outfit, but the necklace competes with the tee for me. How about looping it a couple times as a bracelet instead? I think these shoes work perfectly

I guess my weak spot is accessorizing; I never know if it's too much or not enough. This top has about a 5 inch drop from the base of my neck (I didn't quite get the top of it in the pic). I wonder if I need a shorter necklace to fill in that spot?

I think that's a matter of taste; a shorter necklace would certainly work and be less competition with the tee. However, to me, since you've already got a camisole, tee, and cardigan those three layers give enough visual interest to not need a necklace. I would probably pair a simple, long pendant with this over a short necklace but I personally like having the space open along the neck
