WIWTW - channeling Jonesy x 2

After seeing some of Jonesy's latest pics, I had serious neon citron envy. What with her Madewell sweatshirt and TWO Ann Taylor necklaces, I could NOT put them out of mind.

So, when I found a 40% off printable coupon (pm me if you want me to look it up again for you), and happened on a necklace they had just reclaimed from a mannequin, I came running home with it (and a matchy matchy AT tee).

To complete my Jonesy envy, I tried them with a pair of Rachel Roy slouchy navy pants. They have unusual angled hems, but a great high rise

Keepers? necklace, tee, slouchy pants? Can they be worn together, as shown, or should I split them up?

ETA: the shoes are the Air Tali wedges Angie recommended. I found them in a Chicago Macy's in this neon called Chickadee

I think the outfit is stunning, and I love how the citron is tempered by the neutral shade - a great illustration of the concepts Angie discussed on her posts about the "new neon"! I love that the fabulous shoes and necklace are citron too, and the outfit looks just ideal - kind of a "neon relaxed nautical" outfit, if that makes sense, between the yellow, stripes, and navy. To my eye the outfit looks like it was MADE to be worn together in a catalogue or on a mannequin - you really did well putting it together!

I have a Rag & Bone sweater I got last year at Off FIfth with those exact shades. Mine is cropped, boxy fit with short sleeves. I almost wore it today.

I tried, AJ, but no luck at a link I tried Google, but got nothing. . .

I happened on them in Macy's, the tag says Wander (is that the style group?), the color Black Sea (but it is super navy next to real black), the original price $99.

Sorry to be a downer about the length of the trousers :(. I really think they need a bit of scrunch to be more flattering on your fab bod. I feel bad about saying that because it spoils your fun. I can't help but be insanely particular about the best lengths of items on different people. I guess you are getting extra attention, though. Hope that's okay. FWIW, that's how I feel about the trousers. You may take it or leave it

Angie - I hear you on the pants length and appreciate your extra guidance on my (persistent attraction to) incorrect fit/PPL pants I'll go check the hem and see if there's anything that can be let down. . . You're such a sweetie -- it's like you KNOW I'll wear them twice, put them on a 3rd time and go "WHAT was I thinking??" !!

Now I envy both of you so happy to hear you got to snap those things up and on sale to boot. For me the shoes, T, and necklace all matching is just too much, but I think that is completely personal, so that if this is your thing, I would wear it without hesitation.
