Even though I really have no plans for Sunday, I desperately want to finally wear my version of Diana's dressed down mod http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....d-down-mod It will be 72 - perfect weather for it.

And off I go! This isn't really dressed down for my town, but oh well! I seem to have cut off the boots, too, oops. This is only the 3rd time wearing them, so I am trying a knee hi nylon under trouser socks to see if that helps with the rubbing on my heels. (I *so* have to catch up to Rae on CPW on my Julia's! Just under $80 here so far.) Thought the blue earrings might be a nice nod to mod (tee hee) without being overkill. I debated my red patent purse but that just feels too contrived for me. Anyway, enough rambling - off to my mom's and maybe some window shopping at Stateline.

I LOVE your final version! This is super-fun and fashionable without being trendy, meaning I could see it worn 10 years ago or 10 years from now and it will still look great. And yet it's not classic. Hmmm, I need to contemplate that more. NICE!

My Julias arrived Friday (Frye-day?) and I have yet to find the time to try them on and style them. Ridiculous, no? Am off to climbing gym now.

Interesting that a red purse might feel 'contrived'. I know exactly what you mean! Although if *someone else* was wearing a predominantly neutral outfit and carrying a red bag, I'd be thinking they look pretty stylish

I love Diana's outfit and I love your interpretation. The pieces work really well together and those boots are TDF!
