End of the day photos, but I think I look JDE (just decent enough) to post this given that there was lots of cleaning, some packing, cycling across town and school run on the menu today which started too early for my liking.

When I got home the parcel with the Belt 1 from my today's earlier thread was waiting for me.
I tried it on then took photos. One of the reasons I wanted white belt is to see how/if matching the belt colour to the top or bottom of my outfit will play with the proportions.

Any thoughts? Does one work better than the other for this particular outfit?

ETA: I have no preference, I like both options for different reasons, but I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

And what an amazing accidental match. I adore the trim on the top sleeves and your fun scarf.

I also love your new white belt. And actually really like both the white and the black belt with this outfit. To me both look very deliberate (as in: working perfectly with the stripes of your top). The leg line is probably elongated a little more with the white belt because visually it looks like being part of your trousers. So statuesque you can now choose whether or not to look even a little more leggy

I think this is the same 'family' of belts as your blue belt, the one that matches Zara bag, so I'll consider us belts almost-twins. To add just a bit more happiness when I wear it.

After looking back and forth between the two belts, squinting, etc...I think the white one looks best. It just seems more flattering somehow.

Great outfit, Ornella! I liked the black belt best first, but from a distance, i.e., looking at the thumbnails, I prefer the effect of the white. Both go nicely with the outfit. The black makes for a longer-waisted look and the white for a longer-legged look.

I like the dark belt best with this outfit, but it may be that I have a short torso and need to blend the belt with my top for balance. You look balanced in either belt.

Lovely, graphic outfit. I think I have a slight preference for the white belt, but both work. Definitely a good purchase!

What a big difference the belt makes! I think I prefer the white but the difference is amazing although the results are almost equally good!

I prefer the white belt, since we are approaching summer in my area, I'm drawn to lighter looks and the white belt extends the leg a tiny bit more here. If it were fall, I'd probably vote for the black belt. Both of them work with this outfit. And fun green color, how neat that you match.

Now, shoot me down Ornella, but to this very outfit I preffer the black one:-(. But if it would be some black linen trousers instead of the white jeans, than I surely would preffer the white one.(Or, if your shoes would be a bright pop of color).

But really this is only a personal prefference, you cannot go wrong as the white is still between the monochromatic color pallete you wear it with so well. BTW remember your green scarf and the same green trim on that sweater, those little details always make me smile:-).

How cool that your scarf picks up the green in your sleeves! I think it's fun that you can interchange the belts for the look you are going for. Both work here! My slight preference is for the white but both are sharp. You always look sooooo put together.
