WIW...3 x Pinterest inspo. - YouLookFab Forum

Pinterest has long been a source of outfit inspiration, and this week I turned to one of my boards ( titled 'Copy This') for ideas on how to make some outfits from my work capsule.

#1 button down - BR
Black slim leg trousers - Reitmans
Booties (not shown) -Town Shoes

#2 top - Sears/Jessica
Skirt - Calvin Klein
Shoes - Converse (I wore them for the commute)
blue leather flats for work (not shown) Sears Jessica

#3 button down - BR
Black sweater - Marks Work Wear House
Trousers - Reitmans
Sneakers - MWWH

The BR navy/white pin stripe (#1) has a lovely fit, yet I don't seem to reach for it a lot. I plan to remedy that over the next 5 months. I gave the top (in #3) an extra roll at the sleeve to above elbow once I got to work - and like pad the proportions better. The Accidental Icon (#6) is a frequent source of inspiration. Suggestion welcomed. Thanks for looking!

These are great! I especially love your Accidental Icon copy.

You wear the popped collar well in #1. I've never managed to do that correctly.

You totally nailed it. I especially love the third look in #5. Really inspiring to see Pinterest put into action....I just seem to save lots of looks without using them for inspiration.

Great looks. You wear the Accidential Icon outfit better than AI! I love the skirt in 4, and like the length that you are wearing it at. I would assume that it was meant to be mid-calf, but it looks better on the knee.

#3 This level of contrast is so dramatic on women with white (not just European) skin and black or white hair. On the rest of us it's still dramatic but you see the outfit before you see the woman.
