This is a week's worth of work WIW's (I didn't take photos on the weekend). Last week (the end of May) was super hot (in the 80s) and humid, and then June came and brought with it chilly, rainy, dreary weather. Ah, spring in New England.

1-2: These are the pants (along with their black twins) that I chose when Angie asked us to name our favorite bottoms. They are taupe, but when paired with pinks/purples somehow look like purple. I love them. This is probably the last wearing of my workhorse pearl Naot flat sandals, as they are pretty dead. I have already ordered a replacement (silver Naot gladiators from the same family).

3: First wearing this year of my Liberty dress. This photo was taken at the end of the day in poor lighting so I'm sorry it's blurry. I paired the dress with my cognac platform Dansko sandals for a 70s touch.

4: I rarely do full tucks even into skirts these days but I wanted to wear this olive/blush combo and the blouse is too long for the skirt if I don't tuck. I'm not wild about this outfit though. I think I'll save this blouse for pants from now on.

5-6: It went from 80s to 40s during the day on Saturday, so Monday (the first day of June!) was chilly and rainy. I wore my lemming sweater semi-tucked into slouchy black pants. I liked this outfit but to be honest I was COLD and wished I had another layer. The patent oxfords (which are dark teal, not black as they appear here) and trench are waterproof for the rain.
(Halogen sweater, Suoli pants, Pretty Nana shoes, Via Spiga trench, ??? scarf, Longchamp tote)

7: today's outfit. Still cold and grey. I was smart and added a jacket today on top of my handknit sweater (which only has cap sleeves so I didn't want to have cold arms). I tried my grey jeans unrolled over booties today - I don't like the length with sandals/oxfords but with the booties to fill in the gap I think they are OK? What do you think?
