Here are the first four work outfits I wore on my new job with a business casual dress code from Monday through Thursday last week. As I mentioned in my previous posts, I went pretty conservative - I wanted to look polished, but not to stand out in any way or wear anything too interesting. The outfits are pretty similar - all consist of a pair of BR Sloan pants, blazer, simple top and appropriate shoes. I took all the photos in the evening when I got home, so I apologize for the darkness and looking a bit rumpled, I will try to take them in he mornings in the future, but am still getting used to getting up very early. The outfits are:

Mon (#1-2): Solid navy Sloan pants, tie-waist textured blue BR blazer, simple short sleeved white AT sweater, navy VC loafers, Loft navy/white silk neckerchief
Tue (#3-4): Textured navy Sloan pants, old jersey navy H&M blazer, fuchsia BR short sleeved sweater, navy AT ankle strap pumps, AT silk patterned neckerchief
Wed (#5-6): Black/w white dots Sloan pant, black Theory Gabe blazer, black&white silk WHBM blouse, black NR tassel loafers
Thu (#7-8): Taupe cotton sateen Sloan pants, bone H&M ponte blazer, orchid Piperlime silk t-shirt blouse, tan ankle strap Dolce Vita flats, green/orchid silk AT neckerchief
First three days I carried my BR navy snakeskin tote that could fit my laptop, on Thu I switched to the bone BR satchel.

I have a question regarding the black Theory blazer in #6: does it look a little short on my long torso? If yes, what would be the best way to style it (e.g. over column of color) to minimize that effect?
