Here are three outfits worn last week in the evenings for errands/urban walks, all based on combinations of lilac & brown. I linked this post to the "Dark Purple" outfit formula, since the outfits were loosely inspired by the third formula there, purple and earth tones. Obviously, lilac is a light and not dark purple, however I anticipate doing something similar with my future mini bright purple capsule I discussed a while ago.

1) The first outfit (#2-5) is the closest to the formula outfit (#1). It was built around a fun pair of non-pleated paper-bag waisted brown plaid pants ( a rare find) with some lilac in the plaid. It was paired with a brown ribbed sweater, lilac leather moto and my new lilac Converse. I have still not ordered my chocolate cross-body bag, so taupe was the best I could do.

2) The second outfit (#6-7), was built around a patterned knitted top that has lilac/brown pattern on a cream base. I added brown velveteen bootcut pants, new brown leather blazer, lilac bag, lilac belt and brown snakeskin shooties.

3) The third outfit (#8) is yet another version of the Urban Equestrian ensemble. The focus is the lilac (orchid?) equestrian blazer with brown leather patches. It was combined with cream turtleneck, brown cropped kick flare pants and brown booties.
