The weather has finally cooled off a bit in NYC - and my office has been about two degrees colder, which makes the difference between me wanting to wear a topper and not.

I’ve been wearing more pants and experimenting with looks that are more JFE, since I’ve recently mentally discounted figure flattery as a top priority for me. I am also starting to try to mix my toppers in more while I can, before I need to worry about layering coats over them.

1. New Loft Riveria pants, with an older cropped tee and moto. Plus Adidas

2. I don’t have many button down shirts, but the few I do have that aren’t flannel are mostly from Boden. I love this summery print, but my summers are too warm for sleeves (for me) so it’s a bit of a seasonally confused item. I was finally able to wear it here.

3. Worn on a warmer evening to see outdoor theater. I love these floral pants - all my others have shrunk so I bought these a little oversized and still need to wash them to see what happens.

4. This jumpsuit is YLF approved but isn’t photographing too well here. I think I need to keep it pressed (I hate ironing)

5. Casual look for running errands.

6. Gingham pants. The season for these is also kind of short since I do t wear many pairs of pants in high summer.
