everything about this outfit is perfect!

Very pretty, very fluid outfit. That scarf is gorgeous! And that jacket, well, there aren't words...I simply have to get over the border next summer and visit their store.
I see what you mean about the pant length - I think it looks fine, but I'd like to see them about a quarter to a half inch longer.

This is really beautiful. Great outfit. Gorgeous scarf!

I love all the details here--the mixing of white and cream, your scarf, the matching bracelet, etc. I think the trouser length looks good in the side shot. It could also be the tiniest bit longer, but not enough to redo in my opinion. That is so fab that they could shorten the jacket from the shoulder. If I had somewhere to go that I trusted I would ask for that on my moto. It also has a zipper on the sleeve and is a titch long.

Another beautiful outfit Suz! Love the elegant trousers with simple whites sweatter and white jacket is so special! I would say, it's strickingly simple!:-)

Ack, you look vibrant (so much I can hardly stand it)! Gorgeous.

I love how Shannon put it. You have nailed fluidity and proportions and look like a million bucks. Well done, gorgeous Suz.

I love the look on you, the proportions work just as well on you as they do on Angie although you have slightly different body types. I have lovely trousers for a similar look, but no tops yet. Well, I have one but fuzzy wool trousers and a short sleeve semi-sheer blouse would leave me cold or hot and seasonally confused.

Great outfit! The proportions of dark and light color are right on, and the scarf is a brilliant accent. Something about these pants makes your legs look l-o-n-g. I also like the white belt very much.

On a separate note, we too adopted our son from China, near Shanghai. What an amazing and rewarding experience!

I very much love this look on you, Suz.

Gorgeous outfit! I may have to copy this look sometime. I have wide leg trousers and a white blazer, hmm...:)

Windchime, that is amazing. Beth Ann also has a daughter from China. There are a few of us here!

Thank you everyone for the lovely compliments. I felt great in that outfit and Mr. Suz also complimented me, so I guess it worked! It was just so nice to wear those pants while the weather held.

Suz, this outfit is sublime. I cannot wait to copy it! Beautiful. I haven't done any real shopping yet this fall/winter, but wide-leg trousers are now at the top of my list!

What a beautiful outfit on beautiful you!

Suz, I love everything about this look for you. Do you think it meets all your criteria for feeling good, and can we figure out why? I'll have to go back and reread the thread.

So disappointed to hear about the Theory pants. I have not tried the new version of the Max C. either, but I fear it will be disappointing, since the old ones were perfect for me. Sigh.

Wow! I really love this. Reminds me of Angie's post on outfit simplicity!

Una, this outfit comes pretty close to fulfilling all my criteria. To be perfect those booties would need to be super current (pointy toed) and I'd get rid of the scarf...(I like even more minimalism but in fall I hate a bare neck, so scarves it is...or turtlenecks). But mostly it's about fit, ease, proportion. A sense of casual elegance and refinement. Angie epitomizes this, of course. I just copy her in my lame way.
