Wow!!! Another stunner of an outfit!! You do look realllllyyy tall!! Now if only I could copy this ... Sigh!

Deborah, I love the draping on this outfit. ! A good friend's daughter is designer Lauren Bagliore, http://www.laurenbagliore.com/, whose signature style is artful draping, and I have always loved her clothes. Your outfits always remind me of her designs.

Another fabulous outfit!

Huge succes, I'm amazed!!!! And bet for a K2K rating from Angie, now off to see if she haven't awarded you with it, yet:-)

you just elevate black to a new level..stunning.

Deborah, I love this outfit! It looks amazing. I'm a shortie and need your help. I'm surprised how elongating this outfit is on you, given your short stature. I'm trying to break down why it is working so well for you so that maybe I can copy some of the elements! I've tried wide-leg denim before but it was totally stumpifying and I think the problem was the stiff fabrication. Your pants are so drapey, which totally works. What are they made of? I'm also thinking the heel height and the peeptoe are helping keep things long. How high are they? Thanks Deborah, gorgeous look!

Deborah- may I sign up for your advanced draping and proportion class, please? I absolutely love these looks for you. That neckline rocks and look 1 could take you anywhere. I also like look 2 so much. Sometimes, I love my outfit with the topper on, but less with it off. This works both ways. It reads so sophisticated, yet comfortable. Perfection!

Stunning, simple elegance.

I love the outfit with your beautiful bare arms. More skin - less black. That's a pretty and elegant combination.

Debs, have you tried playing with texture? I've noticed that your black pieces are all a similar texture - if not the same texture. Wearing textured back - instead of flat black from head to toe - livens up the dark neutral. Perhaps your pieces are textured - but that doesn't come through in the photos? Black is a mare to photograph accurately. xo

Sublime, elegant- very beautiful!

Kerry thank you, you are very kind:). I do think the flow of the pants has something to do with this working and my heel height ops 7.5 cm (it's a wedge heel.

Angie very good point and you are quite right. My summer pieces are mostly a similar texture because they are light, easy to wear and cool. Our summers are quite brutal. I also find this fabric forgiving on my figure in summer when it's not always possible to layer to hide lumps and bumps:) My winter wardrobe contains more textured pieces:). I do agree it is a way to keep black looking interesting xxx

I love this look. Wide-legged pants connote sweeping elegance, absolute coolness, and confidence; all of which you embody.

It's so much easier to create a textural outfit with cold weather clothing, isn't it?

Angie I love winter dressing ;). But I will keep in mind to consider more texture for my summer clothes:). I love how you gently challenge me to step out of "my usual" xx

I'm inviting you live in Seattle. xo

No-No- we are keeping her right here Angie

Completely gorgeous, Deborah! 10/10!

In terms of texture for summer, it seems that some sheer black fabrics mixed with heavier fabrics (didn't I see that here recently?) can lighten things up, while adding texture and a hint of coverage. Sorry for my failure to remember the details of the photo/s I am remembering.
