Hi there and happy Monday!

A little fall shopping that I wanted to share:

OOTD featuring my new stompy boots - these were an "organized emotional" purchase (yay!) in which I had in mind that I wanted more boots that would better bookend my blonde highlights, and also wondered if I needed an updated bootie style on hand. I saw these at Nordstrom Rack this weekend and went for it - they are super-comfy and I like how the stompy sole feels more current (even though I still love my classic booties).

And which sweater? Background - I was looking for a very simple light neutral crewneck to add for fall/winter, so that I could wear contrast when the mood strikes, rather than my usual winter dark column of colour. I came upon these two at Joe Fresh today. One is a wintery-white and the other is a beige with a pink cast. I don't think I need both, even though they were not expensive. Not sure which to keep:

The winter white (3/4) was less expensive, and to my eye looks a little less expensive relative to the other, although it looks nice to my eye. The white creates a higher contrast. The fabric is arguably lesser quality to the other - it's a blend of cotton, rayon, nylon, and an almost-not-worth-mentioning touch of cashmere. However, it is very soft on the skin which is something I am keen on at the moment (eczema season *sigh*)

The beige (5/6) was more expensive (again, not expensive at all though), at looks slightly more expensive, I think due to the 100% merino wool fabric. The beige creates a slightly softer contrast, but it probably more flattering to my personal colouring. The wool doesn't feel particularly itchy, but I am wary.

Both will need a tank under!

What do you think? Are either a keeper and if so, which one? Can you even see a difference heheh?!? (the last photo should help see the colours better).

Thanks! xoxo
