It is a beautiful, spring day here. This is what I wore to run errands. My daughter took this picture on our way back from the school bus drop off. I am holding the mail and the newspaper. This is my exciting life ! LOL

This is unusual for me because of the flowers. I am not a large print person or almost any print really. Then the color is something different for me too. The top is just a cheapie sweatshirt type shirt for me to try the style and a not-me print. The shoes are slip on Teva sneakers that look like "sport " ballets that I have had forever.

I am not sure about the proportions. The length of the jeans look awkward to me now in the photo. ( Excuse the hair...I am getting a major cut in 10 days. )

Yay or nay...any suggestions ? Tweaks. Start over altogether ?

I love that tunic on you! The colors look perfect on you. The cropped length of your pants is fine, but since they are jeans I would roll them once or twice.

Thank you so much ladies. After meeting up with the lovely Fabbers in Boston this weekend, I decided that I really need to just try color. JenA in particular really inspired me to do it.

@Jj, hahahahaha...and I should really wear pants. Or at least my own.

I ended up rolling my pants and I really did like it. OK, one modern look for Spring !

( I forgot pajama bottoms for the meet up and it became, not only an odessy, but the opening line when I met anyone, " Hi ! I am so glad to meet you. Do you have pants that I can borrow ? "

I would suggest rolling the jeans a couple of times. I think the proportions might look really flattering if the tunic is 1.5 times the length of the jeans. So the jeans need a bit of shortening.
