WIW when it's raining and warm and I just want comfort

I'm trying to post more of my every day outfits, not just the ones I'm proud of or confused about.

Today I'm tired and drained and it's dark and rainy but warm outside. What to wear? First grab a concert tee that reminds me of a fun night and maybe makes my messy hair look intentional rather than lazy. Comfort on bottom. Stretch and airflow, perfect. I added the jacket in case of ac. It may come off and on during the day, but the denim gives me a little structure, since men's tshirts are not my best shape. Birks because I hate hot, soggy feet.

Love. I like the plaid. This looks flattering. The jacket helps with the boy cut of tee, and maybe it's worth a bit of DIY cutting (getting rid of the crew neck) to fit it a little more to your taste? That type of tee is tough for most of us.

Terrific outfit. You look very pretty. I love the juxtaposition of the plaid with the denim and graphic tee. Dressing for rainy and warm is quite the challenge, is it not?

Really great look, and I totally agree with your approach! Rainy and warm is kind of icky - it's the most practical for me with a short skirt like that and sandals I don't mind getting wet.

Before I looked at the photo, I thought it was going to be a nothing outfit. But it's really cool and special. I never would have thought to wear that skirt with a casual tee. Thanks for the inspiration.

Barbara Diane, I love how you put that. I do feel like this is a nothing outfit, but sometimes those non-groundbreaking, every day outfits are what we need to see. I do notice when I take a picture it automatically makes me use a more critical eye. I can't say for sure if I would have grabbed the denim jacket if I hadn't taken a picture first without it.

I really like this sort of devil-may-care outfit. I mean, how can you go wrong with plaid and a concert tee?
