I really hate this job so far. I am told most adults hate their jobs. If that is true that is terrible. I've been really lucky up until now.

Three looks from the week. I barely ever see anyone and can dress how I like, so I do.

- Costume National blue pointy sandals (eBay)

Temp outside is low 90s. May drop soon. Temp inside is in the 60s somewhere. Brrr.

Oh no! But you're probably right about most adults hating their jobs.
You look great in all three photos. I like the simplicity of #1, you look so svelte and your shoes in 2 and 3 are fab. Your sweater in 2 is a beautiful shade of blue and it looks warm for the freezing a/c.

I don't think most people hate their jobs although they may not like certain aspects of it. No job is perfect. I hope that you can find one thing you like to hang onto to make this bearable...cause I'm picturing the old commercial with the guy waking up predawn, moaning " Time to make the donuts."

All three looks are great, pulled together and polished, yet comfortable and stylish!

Ughh, I'm sorry to hear you hate the new job. My partner hates her job - it's super draining hating your job. Guessing it would be no consolation to say you look fab.

I am sorry to hear that you hate the job so far. Hopefully that will begin to turn around. Over the years I have hated some projects that I have been on and loved others.

You're right -- it's very sad to think that most people hate their jobs. I am very lucky.

Love, love, love the shoes in #3! And I really like outfits 1 and 3 in particular. It's so weird to think of wearing cashmere when it's in the 90s, but I know if you are in air conditioned discomfort, you definitely need it. Urgh.

These outfits look sleek and comfortable, and not so different from what I see every day in my own office (when I make it there, ha!). I think your fears about finding the right office style can now be laid to rest. Yay!

In terms of the first 2 weeks down...once you develop your own network and get deeper into your projects, I bet you will like it more. Right now, I'm sure it's a bit isolating being new, and having to depend on others to help guide you. But, the first 6 months might be like this until you figure out your niche in the company. Fingers crossed for you that you discover your "tribe" and soon.

It's tough nowadays, esp with so many telecommuters. The actual office itself becomes a bit like a ghost town, and it gets harder to make personal connections.

What are your working at home options? Once you can work from home maybe 2-3x a week, the job might become more palatable as well.

I'm sorry to hear that you don't like your job. What is it that you don't like- the work itself, the culture, your coworkers? I have to disagree that most people hate their jobs. I believe that many might dislike having to work or hate parts of their job but if they truly hate everything about it then it's time for a change.

But at least you are able to dress in your preferred style. I hope it gets better....for now, you do look good!
