WIW : Wardrobe Rescue :)

Hi Everyone,

Need your opinions! This was a QueensPark dress with a ruffle at the bottom. I loved the style and the color but I never felt it worked as a dress no matter how I styled it.

So I was hit with YLF inspiration the other night and removed the ruffle ending up with what I think is a great tunic?!?

I'm wearing this today for MOTG running around with hubby and Master 8.

WDYT? Does this work ok?

Oh, I think this looks really great and I love that green on you. My memory is failing me as to where you live - is it cold weather for you now? I like the black a lot, especially for cool weather, but I think white would pair beautifully with this also.

ETA: and I have to agree with Angie - aren't you clever for removing that ruffle?!

Christy I'm in Australia and we are at the end of winter so it's still cold. Yes I agree white pants could work well with this tunic in the warmer weather. They are on my wishlist:)

Angie, removing the ruffle was just a matter of cutting it off as it was sewn underneath the detail that is now the hem so no sewing involved;) and thank you to you and Clearlyclaire for lovely compliments re my hair...it's been a long road back from some serious damage done to my hair a year ago (needless to say, I have a new hairdresser).

Rita, thanks. The sleeves are kind of bell shaped so tricky to scrunch

Thank you ! Your input is so valued. I can now hang this in the wardrobe (and of course wear it) knowing it is YLF approved. And Lynne thanks for chiming in.
