Once in a while, I have the opportunity to attend an event where "cocktail attire" is requested. Tonight was the appreciation event for Reading Partners, one of my volunteer organizations, at the University of Washington's Center for Urban Horticulture. I chose this Avec Les Filles dark floral dress, which fits the bill for cocktail attire. It's not consistently warm in Seattle yet, so I need a light wrap to ward off the evening chill.
