Hot and humid today, so I wanted breezy, natural fabrics. Both my silk chiffon hi-low top and lightweight white cotton full skirt fit the bill. My first impulse was to tuck the top in, but it felt fussy, lumpy, and a little uncomfortable, plus I wasn't up to dealing with the grinning issue again. On a whim, I decided to leave the top untucked and unbelted (a belt ruined the line) and, even though a voluminous long top over a full skirt is not an expected combination, I really liked how this turned out. It helps that the top is cut with an hourglass shape. Perfectly swishy and breezy.

Subway bag hangs much better now that it's less stuffed, and it doesn't feel like I'm toting around a giant pillow under my arm today. =)
