Love the booties and the spring outfit! End of March and first part of April is such a tricky time in Canada. The weather can warm up enough to make you want to pack away all the winter gear--and then you get stuck trying to dig it all back out of the closet when the snow starts falling again. But I have to applaud your courage in wearing white on the bottom at this time of the year, even if running errands by car!

The new booties are fantastic, Suz!! And with all those beautiful memories attached to them, I bet they'll make you smile each time you wear them.

Such a wonderful Spring outfit too. That shade of blue is gorgeous on you (and I love the pattern on that shirt as well).

Such beautiful booties

Gorgeous booties! They look so soft and comfortable. And very you. What a great "souvenir" from your trip to Israel. And your outfit definitely hints of spring.

Gorgeous booties and a happy transitional season outfit. Nicely done!

Thanks, everyone, and especially Angie for popping on when I know your arm can't stand it. (Now go back to resting, and that's an order!)

These booties are just what Diana says; they fit perfectly. Here is the brand:

They are hand-made shoes. I could not have afforded the full prices shoes. (I really had my eye on a beautiful ankle strap pair for summer but they were way too much money.) But on sale, they were a steal. So I am delighted with them.

And, guess what? It looks like you can get them on Etsy. I would say these shoes fit TTS in a Euro size. I got a 37, my usual Euro size. I have to say, I might be awfully tempted by this option for new shoes next time I am looking, because as Diana says, the Israelis make fantastic footwear.

Oh -- here's the shoe I was lusting after....but you can see from the price why I left it alone...

Suz - thanks for the links. Israelis make great leather goods in general - wallets etc, not only footware.

I haven't read the other responses but I am sure they were all rave reviews. Those booties are like the unicorn - hard to find but gorgeous when you do. I love the bone color and the silver piping and the shape looks like it won't be dated EVER. I can tell just from the pics that they are supple leather. Great find.

Brilliant, Suz!

Off topic, but I\'m in the middle of \"The Lemon Tree\". Have you read it? Such a great in-depth history of the Israeli-Palestian situation.

The booties look like a real find!! Lovely blue in your jumper too!

Stunning Suz and the best type of travelling present. I love buying useful items when travelling - the more I use them the more I think about my wonderful trip. You can certainly tell these are good quality leather!! Yay.

I was wondering what was in the yellow bag! Those booties look amazing and it sounds like you'll get excellent use out of them. And on sale too.

I've also started the process of washing and putting away all of my natural fiber sweaters. I've never owned more than a couple before this year so it's a new experience for me. Good luck with the whole process.

Those boots and spending time with Shevia: the silver lining to your winter, right? (Silver piping on your booies=silver lining, get it? hehe )

I love the creamy flannel, white, and blue cashmere paired together. The blue and cream definitely say "Spring is almost here" to me! And what a lovely, perfect momento from your trip.

I would love to hang out with Shevia!! And you! Honestly, if I could afford it, I would spend a year traveling around the world meeting and shopping and sipping tea/wine/coffee with all you lovely Fabbers!

Love your boots and the story of your trip!
