I so relate to the need to tailor your pencil skirts. I have a bunch that are sitting here, mocking me, because they need to be tailored--I barely wore all of my skirts this winter because I was too lazy to go to the tailor. Otherwise they are just too boxy (I think we are built similarly in terms of our hips/flat butt situation). Your skirt looks amazing on you!
Isn't it great to see someone take a formula and make it their own? You've done that and more here, Una. I like the top better untucked. Adore the color palette and the booties. This is still very much you, just you in a professional setting.
This is one of your best outfits ever. Amazing how a subtle tweak in the fit catapults you into the stratosphere of chic. Well that and the colors, shapes, pattern mix...
Wow, so fab! I love the pink and orange combo. You do bright saturated colors so well! The outfit is fun and fresh yet totally professional. Very MaryK inspired indeed, but it's SO you!
Thank you everyone! Not meaning to bump this thread - however I wanted to follow up to report that this outfit felt fab all day. I need to find some variations of this formula for sure. Glad to know it's not necessary to tuck into this skirt too.
