I am absolutely terrible at remembering to take WIW pics -- and just as bad at plain taking them -- but I do think the habit and the feedback are valuable, so here you are.
A few very straightforward outfits worn over the course of a few days last week while travelling in Spain. As usual, I keep things simple and classic.
On New Year's Eve (so before the beginning of our January SYC challenge) I did a little shopping and picked up two pieces pictured in Finds below: an oversized striped cotton sweater and a printed scarf, both in organic cotton. They were perfect for the weather and got a lot of wear right away.
#1: Dressing for a day in Madrid. All black with a pop of white in the shoes.
#2 and 3: Heading to the train to the south: keeping it simple in stripes and wearing glasses. I wore this trench as a topper almost every day.
#4: Worn on a long day out and about: this little jacket worked really well, though I switched to booties later.
#5: New scarf in action.
I feel like the jeans in #4+5 are looking a little baggy in the knee and need to be retired soon. They are an old version of the ones in #2-3, which are brand new. Any other comments on fit or styling would be appreciated!

ETA #6-8: Bonus pictures of Alhambra as seen from our bedroom window, our most favorite ceiling in the Nasrid Palaces, and the lovely tapas that followed.
