Thanks! I've been waiting and waiting to be able to wear these trousers I got from NAS. They're only ppl with my higher booties, so I won't be wearing them every day. I'm going to have to play around with other tops to go with them. When my bow blouses come those might be a good match. I haven't been thrilled with the way they look with a tucked blouse.
The funny thing about this sweater is I got it last year in hopes it would replace my favorite sweater. It seemed to fit just a little too big. I think my eye has now adjusted to a little bit slouchier fitting tops and now I'm in love with it. I just needed to give myself some time to get over my worn out favorite gap sweater. Now I have a new favorite.
Angie, I did try this out with a slightly brighter belt, in a tan leather, but it just made me too conscious of the focal point being right at the exact spot I try to keep the focus away from, so I traded it in. I'm just so thrilled to have learned from you how much of a difference a belt makes to an outfit like this. I never realized what was missing.
I know conventional wisdom says a pendant goes with a turtleneck, but it doesn't quite jibe with my style. I think I like turtlenecks more in a masculine styled way than a mod styled way, if that makes sense. I don't think I knew that until y'all called this look boyish. I wouldn't have pegged boyish as one of my descriptors, but it does fit.
