wiw today: Nudes

I don't wear this skirt much, thought I would pick up the nude in the skirt rather than the black:)
I usually wear all black with this skirt, so this was a bit tricky for me...I am working on less black, for summer anyway.

I haven't seen this outfit as a black version but I love this version with nudes. The texture to the top makes this outfit pop!

Hmmm Sveta, You are right, the blouse is the exact Taupe color as in the skirt..I guess I just lump all shades of Khaki, taupe and nude... as shades of nude...perhaps wrongly:)

I am so mesmerized by your hair, it is hard to focus on the outfit, but it is very stylish and put-together. It's kind of an interesting look to have just a few stripes of black in the skirt because usually that is the first color one would use to build the outfit.

I love everything about that! The wonderful interplay of pattern in the skirt and texture in the ruffles, the fabulous unexpected combinations of gold and grey, black and taupe, and most especially how the gorgeous highlights in your hair are echoed by the slashing stripes of the skirt. I think going with the lighter taupe instead of black gives that particular contrast a chance to stand out.

Plus, of course, you look GORGEOUS in it!
