Today was all about gray and gold.....just like my current hair. Our schedule was loaded with transitions and travel through the buildings. I knew I would need happy feet, so I chose my footwear and built my wardrobe from the ground up.
Super comfy DV8 charcoal suede booties. Cute with double zippers, which don’t show in the pics, but make me happy.
Charcoal J Jill corduroys
Gold Loft sweater
Plaid scarf
Gray and gold bracelets

Today’s out fit was a hat trick with 3 happy elements:
comfort
plaid scarf which added color, interest and extra warmth
Gray and gold bracelets. I found the story teller bracelet while shopping for antiques with my sister and the two tone cuff and beaded bracelet were gifts from her.

Spoiler alert - My sister is also my twin and wearing a connection to her always makes me happy. A nod to my sister will likely be one of my happiness factors.

I hadn’t really studied how the colors work with my hair yet, but I headed out the door confident and ready to take on the day. That was a good thing, because when I arrived at work I was told I would have sub coverage for 20 minutes. It is Music Fest week and we have several local artists visiting and holding workshops with our students. One group of 7th and 8th graders is working with a film maker and doing a behind the scenes documentary of a musical we are producing with grades K-4. They wanted to interview me. What? Surprise! I guess I’ll have a chance to see how the colors look when the film is showed at a school assembly. Good lord. Some days require more courage than others.
