Oh gosh, thanks so much, everyone! What an unbelievable gift to come home to all these sweet and heartwarming messages from my favorite community of K2K women!
I had a great day with my friends, and the most hilarious thing happened. We were at the consignment store and as I took off my boots to try on a pair of shoes, the zipper BUSTED! These were my old Rockports that I've worn out twice and had resoled, and they finally gave out. In true Alaskan style, I duct-taped them together for the rest of the day (fortunately, the tape was black). It prevented me from buying anything since I couldn't take my boots off to try anything on., although I did look around for a replacement. SO funny. My friends found lots to buy though and that was just as much fun. I've just said a tearful goodbye to the boots, who served me faithfully and well for many years.
On another note, DH and DS got me a Vitamix, a very unexpected and welcome gift.
And the AT slouchy orange pants that Aida so kindly ordered for me arrived! They were here Friday but I couldn't get to the PO till today. The size 6P seems to be the best fit - I will post photos tomorrow for input.
My fashion vow for the coming year is to buy only 10s that fit into my wardrobe and style goals, and to focus more clearly on what matters to me style-wise. I know you all will keep me on track! XOXOXO to all of you.
