WIW the return of the denim skirt

Hello YLF,
I will post and run for now but will come back later.I am trying to keep myself accountable by posting the WIW everyday.
About the outfit...
For some reason I had lost the love for my denim pencil skirt last year but as i was trying to improve my casual wardrobe I thought maybe this was a good way to start.
The color of the shirt is more brick than red.The belt has a kind of faded jade stone.I was feeling very navajo style and decided to finish if with a braid.
By the way, this are my new sunglasses.
Opinions and comments welcome.

I love that denim skirt and I'm so glad you got it out again. The belt is perfect with it; now all you need is some turquoise jewelry, lol!

Good, strong classic look! I like Claire's idea of adding a drop of turquoise or two to the mix. By the way, also LOVE your shoes and hairstyle --- not everyone can pull that off smartly!

Oh, and nice sunnies too --- I love ones that actually cover the entire area around the eyes snugly (a protective item *better* be practical first!) but so many also then look clunky, whereas yours is just right and suits you beautifully.

That skirt is so flattering on you! You can wear it year round. I am surprised you weren't "feeling the love". Its looks very pretty teamed with the top and belt and will be so nice also when the weather gets a little warmer. I just ordered a denim skirt and I hope I like mine as much as I like yours on you!

Great skirt, Celia. I like the ease in the top and belt -- looks casual and just a little slouchy (in a good way). The braid follows this vibe. I like Claire's idea of a little turquoise!

Looks great Celia! Are your ears pierced? I think some bright orange dangly earrings would be super fun with this
