Great glam rock outfit, the muted colours and simple shapes put urban grit in the look and make it modern.

As for Bowie I recognize him for a fashion figure but was never touched by his music, so I have nothing to say in tribute.

I'm sorry for your loss.

...don't you know you're driving your mamas and papas insane?

Suz, I'm now onto Hunky Dory in my listening marathon, so your timing is just right. SandyG, we were indeed very lucky to share that tiny time window. And Cerinda, I saw the David Bowie Is... exhibition twice in fact. He was so many things. Nice moto, btw

Thanks all for sharing in this. It feels at once deeply personal and quite apropos to the moment. Really looking forward to seeing some more outfits!

Chiming in again to say that we played David Bowie all night at our dinner party. Respects are being paid.

(Aha, Lyn D. Good to know).

Angie, thats awesome! We're hosting a wake tomorrow night.

It felt good, Liz. What will you wear to the wake?

Probably something a bit Diamond Dogs I think. I'll let you know tomorrow

love the pictures and your style take.

It is so heartening to see these tributes to Mr. Bowie. You all embody his clean, minimal glam aesthetic perfectly and effortlessly; stars shining with grace on a gloomy day. Not one bit surprising for students of Ms. Cox.

I'm still in rent dress, ashes in my hair, bereft of makeup and jewels. My heart goes out to Mr. Bowie's family and the many artists with whom he collaborated over the decades.
