I wore this ensemble to the Folsom street fair (NSFW) today, where many participants come partially or entirely undressed or interestingly dressed. My outfit was entirely appropriate and very conservative in this context. I wanted my outfit to say, "While I'm not part of this scene, I respect it and am not an ill informed gawker".
Black corset
Blue/grey crushed panne skirt (made by mom)
Black gear purse (required to hold a bottle of water and voluminous cardigan for outside the fair)
Red ankle boots
On a side note, I found seeing a large number of undressed people of all shapes and sizes to be a very body-positive experience as it reminded me what normal people (as opposed to airbrushed photos of people) look like and reinforced that my body was normal.
