WIW Super Cold Friday (ETA photo of shoes)

It's super cold out there today and while I would normally wear jeans, I am finding my jeans a little tight these days. Let's just say that tights felt more forgiving!

This is a different look for me with the layering and chunky sweater over a pencil skirt but hey, Sometimes you have to try new things. This is also my first mobile post so here's hoping it works!

Feedback and suggestions welcome!

Sweater: Cleo Petites

Purple Layer Shirt: Gap

Pencil Skirt: Cleo Petites

Tights: Hue

Oxfords: Naot

ETA: I added a photo of my oxfords so you can see the color variations. Trying to bookend the burgundy in the shoes and the purple in my top?!

Wow, Krista - I LOVE this!! (Well...I would, wouldn't I? It includes that fave of mine...taupe!) But seriously - this is such a sophisticated look and so cozy for our frigid weather. Great job!!

I like this look a lot too, Krista! It looks cozy and not bulky at all, the size is intentional with the proportions as you have your lovely legs to balance the visual weight of the sweater. Looks great!

What oxford model are those? They are really nice.

I really like the look of your chunky sweater over the skirt. What colour are the shoes? They work really well with the outfit. Perfect for the cold temps!

I totally agree - tights and skirt trumps jeans when the weather is frigid! We have the same these days, and I love my skirts and tights.

Your outfit looks so cozy and comfortable, and I really like it on you. Love that chunky sweater!

Suz- you are so cute about taupe! The photo is bad, though, and misled you. It's actually a light grey.

Ceit - I just did a search and I think it's the Naot Rubino but I don't see it in the color that I'm wearing. I'll have to check again and let you know.

Ceit, I originally bought these as flats and returned them for the heeled version. Try the Naot Lako - comes in the same color way that I'm wearing and also in black.
